    The conference about Media Literacy and Children took place in October, 27 at the Consejo Escolar de Andalucía, in Granada. In the conference participated Samy Tayie, professor at the Faculty of Mass Communication at Cairo University, Egyp, and president of Mentor Association and José Manuel Pérez Tornero, professor of Journalism at Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) and secretary general of Mentor Association.     I Communication and Education Congress in Barcelona, May 2011

    The International Conference on Communication and Education: Media Literacy Strategies was organized in Barcelona in May (11-13), 2011. The Conference created a room for debates, reflections and analyses of initiatives, projects, research, experiences and tendencies to Media Literacy around the world. Professionals, researchers, and professors from differentes parts of the world participated in the conference. They came from Europe, Latin-America, The Arab World, Africa and Asia.

    International Forum on Media and Information Literacy, June 2011

    First Forum on Media and Information Literacy was organized by Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University in Fez, Morocco, in June (15 - 17), 2011. An agreement (UNITWIN) was signed among eight universities for collaboration and exchange experiences in the area of Communication under the umbrella of the UNESCO and the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations Programme.
