Facebook group for media literacy and digital cultures congress debate

The gabinete de Comunicación y Educación has created a group for reflection and debate on Facebook to provide continuity and promote the issues discussed in the context of Congress Media literacy and digital cultures held in Seville on 13 and 14 May.

The group is accessible through the  link and presents temathics in the areas of digital and media literacy competences, educational and communicative new environments and languages and media education.

Actions to continue after the Media Literacy and Digital Cultures Congress

Some of the expositors and participants of the Congress "Media literacy and digital cultures", held in Seville, have begun to work in different actions aimed to maintain reflection, discussion and development of projects in media literacy.

Mentor participates in the Fourth IGF in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt

The Fourth Annual Meeting of the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) will take place in Sharm El Sheikh on 15 - 18 November 2009. The overall theme of the meeting will be Internet Governance - Creating Opportunities for ALL.  It reflects the basic purpose of the IGF on how to develop a common understanding, on how to maximize the opportunities the Internet offers for all nations and individuals. It will address the risks and challenges while also raising awareness of the development dimensions of the Internet Governance.
