Cabinet, EBU and IRTVE works in the organization of EBU TRAINING Assembly 2010

EBU TRAINING Assembly 2010 of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), titled How do Public Broadcasters compete, will take place in the Faculty of Communication Studies of UAB, in collaboration with Gabinete de Comunicación y Educación and Instituto Radio Televisión Española.

In order to set up the organization of the event, Nathalie Labourdette (Director of EBU International Training Unit), Hélène Rauby-Matta (member of the International Training Unit), Yolanda Marugán Calvo (Director of Instituto Radio Televisión Española) and María José Loranca, delegate from International Cooperation Unit in the Spanish radio and Television, have met with the team of Gabinete de Comunicación y Educación, directed by Dr. José Manuel Pérez Tornero.  

For the first time, this kind of event will be hold in a Faculty, in this case, in the Faculty of Communication Studies of the UAB.

Following the Assembly of 2009 about professionals in broadcasting, the 2010 edition will focus in:

Ø        How to compete in a broadly open and saturated market and re-establish a proactive relationship with all our audiences.

Ø        How to stimulate a training culture within our organizations and establish a flow of Training that meets both current and future needs.   

Ø        How to influence the market through partnerships and provide "oven ready" professionals
